MUSCATINE, Iowa - Vickie L. Jaquet, 59, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at her home.
Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Charles Reynolds will officiate. Honorary bearers will be Bill Reckers, Christopher Jaquet, Matt Moody, Larry Greer, Bradley Howard, Kaden Honts, Nathaniel Honts, and Caleb Byrd. A time of food and fellowship will follow the service at Keithsburg Christian Church, Keithsburg, Illinois. Visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the funeral home. Vickie was born on January 14, 1958, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Mildred Klongerbo Reckers. She married Randy P. Jaquet on March 15, 2014, in Muscatine.
She had worked for CDS in Wilton for 25 years. She liked to go camping, fishing, concerts, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Randy Jaquet of Muscatine; two sons, Clifford Byrd III and Daniel Byrd, both of Muscatine; one daughter, Mandy Moody and husband, Matt, of Muscatine; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Reckers and wife, Wendy, Jimmy Reckers, and Edward Reckers, all of Keithsburg, Illinois, and Steve Reckers and wife, Teresa, of Springfield; and three sisters, Carole Jackson and husband, Jimmie, and Debbie King and husband, Cliff, both of Seaton, Illinois, and Bette Smith of Keithsburg, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Tina and Lori.
