David Edward Rial, 62 of St. Cloud, MN and formerly of Fort Dodge passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at his home in St. Cloud, MN.
Funeral services will be held on 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and then 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church a Mass of Christian Burial will be held with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial service will also be held at a later date in St. Cloud, MN.
David is survived by his son, Nolan of Minneapolis; daughters, Tara Burke and fiancé Paul Ebnet; Timi (Cory) Molitor; grandchildren, Madi Molitor; Carlee Reber; Mason Molitor all of St. Cloud, MN; mother, Norma Rial of Fort Dodge; brothers, Terry (Lori) of Clare; Mike (Kris) of Fort Dodge; Bob of Sarasota, FL; Danny of Colorado; sisters, Cynthia Keigher of Colorado Springs, CO; and Shannon (Marc) DeMoss of Rockwell City. He was preceded in death by his father, E. Patrick Rial and nephew, Ryan Rial.
Dave was born July 12, 1954 to E. Pat and Norma (Will) Rial. He was raised in Fort Dodge, IA and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1972. Married Jeri Marie Hankel Feb. 2nd, 1991 in Fort Dodge, IA. The couple were later divorced. He was in the floor covering business over 40 years. Dave enjoyed spending his free time with his family, fishing, watching and coaching wrestling and hanging out with his grandkids. He had an enormous heart and the compassion to put family and friends before himself.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
