"I have been truly blessed to have had the honor of loving this sweet woman, as she is my nephew's Korey and Kyle Stern's grandmother, I have so many fond memories of time spent with her, Jerry, and the boys dad Kenny up at the cottage in Pelican Lake. We shared a special kind of love, she was the epitome of a true "Lady". I find comfort knowing she will be joining g-pa Jerry and Kenny, and one day I shall she her again. I love you with all my heart. Angels be with you now and for eternity...."

"Shelly, I was so sad to hear of your grandma's passing. I always loved when you would post pictures of your visits with her. May God wrap his loving arms around you and your family in your time of great sorrow and bring you comfort. Marie had a very deep faith and she is smiling down from heaven on all of you. Sending you hugs and prayers for comfort."

"Words fail us to learn of Marie's passing. We wish the miles did not separate us so we could wrap our arms around you. We had such a wonderful conversation with Marie about a month ago and she was as smart, funny, and witty as always. Her voice, laugh and big smile will be sorely missed. Marie was totally devoted to her family and always put family first. Her great love for others was evident in all she did. Her example as a terrific wife, mother, and woman will never be forgotten. To us, she was our number 1 aunt. God bless you all. A special thank you to Father Charlie for his time and efforts to come to see Marie and Jerry, and for performing the last rites to a fabulous lady. His visits were a highlight to both of them. Marie commented frequently that she wasn't sure who could come up with the best joke. We are hoping that there are plenty of fond memories and jokes shared about the life of this tremendous gal and also of times spent with Jerry, too. God bless, Dave and Julee Jones, Columbus, Montana"
