Robert John Boroday, 70 of Davie, Florida passed away on Sunday April 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born on May 25, 1946 in Montreal, Canada, son of Leslie Boroday and Mary Bernick.
Bob's wife of 49 years, Carla, passed away on April 3, 2012. He is survived by his sons, Adrian and Derrick and wife Shelly Reiger-Boroday, all of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; brother Allan Boroday and sister Patricia Boroday-Saroli.
Bob enjoyed collecting and restoring vintage vehicles. He looked forward to weekly Sunday family dinners and visiting with his extensive family here and abroad.
He and wife Carla started their limousine business together in 1975. Currently this business has a fleet of over 55 vehicles and continues to thrive in the South Florida market. Bob enjoyed networking and maintained long-term affiliations with many in the limousine industry and its organizations.
For the last 5 years Bob fought a valiant fight with Parkinson's.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at: 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Visitation; 6:00pm - Service and Reception to follow at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home at 6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024.
