Mary Zucca

Mary Louise Zucca, 83, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, formerly of Kingston, passed away December 27, 2011 at the home of her son, Paul in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mary was born April 24, 1928 to John and Marie (LeQueau) Giarrusso in Rome, New York. In 1946 Mary married Donald Zucca, a blessed marriage until he passed away in 1996.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Michele (James) Kakoullis of Clearwater, Florida and her son Paul Zucca of Atlanta, Georgia, grandchildren Julia and James Kakoulllis Jr. and great grandson Alexander, also of Clearwater, Florida. She is also survived by her sisters Rose Raulli, of Rome, New York and Louise (Richard) Adolfi of Naples, Florida.

In addition to her parents, Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband Donald of Kingston, her sisters and brothers-in-law Mafalda & Gregory Scicchitano, Jennie & Vito Colangelo, Ida & Michael LaGatta and brother-in-law Ray Raulli of Rome, NY. She also leaves behind several neices and nephews.

After her children started to school, in addition to taking care of her family, Mary enjoyed teaching at the Moran Business School and working with fashion at Levennthal's Fur & Fashion. In 1986 Mary and Donald left Kingston to enjoy their retirement in Lawrenceville, Georgia to be closer to their children in Atlanta and Clearwater, Fla. They enjoyed a very active retirement and Mary enjoyed decorating her new home and planning and developing her beautiful flower gardens in the swim-tennis community of Cooper's Pond. She has lived with her son Paul for the past two years,

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser, A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
