Salvatore ''Gumba'' J. Pugliese, 62, of Delaware Ave, Kingston, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Kingston Hospital, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born May 25, 1949 in Brooklyn, the son of Peter Pugliese and the late Angelina Pugliese.
Mr. Pugliese had owned and operated Riteway Paving, and had worked for many other companies in the masonry and blacktopping trades.
He is survived by his loving family, his children, Scott, Salvatore, Jr. and Dominick Pugliese, his brothers and sisters Theodore, Edward, Joseph and his wife Lisa, James and Rebecca Pugliese, beloved friends William and Sandra Dart and Frankie and Elle Tamberello, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He will be loved and missed by all.
Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, Friends may call on Thursday from 5 - 7 pm. The service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
