Mary F. Reynolds
February 15, 1918 - March 2, 2009

Mary "Isabel" F. Reynolds, 91, of Main Street, St. Remy, NY, died Monday, March 2, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital, Kingston, NY. She was born February 15, 1918 in St. Remy, NY to the late Jacob and Mary (Lusk) Frost. She was the wife of the late Jack N. Reynolds, he died on January 6, 1991.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School and then attended Moran's School of Business in Kingston. She enlisted in the Navy, becoming one of the first "Waves" and was an Aviation Machinist Mate, 1st Class, she served from November 14, 1942 to December 15, 1945. She was honored by Govenor Cellucci of Massachusets on November 11th 2000, at the State House as being one of the 1st group of women inducted into the Waves.

Mary was a member of the St. Remy Reformed Church, Veterans of Foreign War and the American Legion in Austin, Texas. She had been a member of the 4H.

Mary is survived by her children William Reynolds, Ronald J. Reynolds, Raymond Reynolds, Jack Reynolds, Jr., and Mena Reynolds Mazza, 25 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Ernest, Vernon and Herbert Frost, and sisters Ardis Miller, Hilda Ennist and Katherine Kelly.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am. Rev. Dr. David M. Brechter, officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to People's Place, 773 Broadway, Kingston.
