Berta Luisa Nogueras, 94 of Kingston, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at The Kingston Hospital. She was born May 9, 1916 in Cayey, Puerto Rico to the late Julio and Anastacia Melendez Perez.
She was married to Domingo Nogueras, they wed in November 1931. Domingo died in May 1981.
Berta was a Sales Representative for General Electric in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She was a Seventh Day Adventist who lived by her bible and her family.
She is survived by her children, Otoniel Nogueras of Tampa, FL, Gladys Nogueras of Bronx, NY, Isca Nogueras of Miami, FL, a niece Ana Hilda Nieves of Bronx, NY, a granddaughter Lucy N Guzman, great grandsons Joel and Blake Rivera, great great grandchildren Jordan, Leila and Kaleb Rivera, all of Kingston.
Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
