Dear Judyth & family,
Unfortunately no words can heal your pain in this moment of your life. Although we only had the pleasure to know and work with Francis for a couple of years, he sure left a gap among us. We will feel the emptiness for a long time and miss our friend. What a beautiful difference he made in our lives and how many footprints did he leave behind! I am sure everyone feels the same way.
I am so thankful that I had a chance to visit him a few times during the last few months. What a great warrior! I remember he said that I was an inspiration for him when I fought my cancer, but seeing him in his fight, I have to say that he was the inspiration for many. The last time we saw him he said: "I will keep fighting". That's who he was.
May the good memories you shared be the ones to give you and your family the necessary strength during this difficult time and give you peace.
Francis, you will be missed!"
