"Having known Mrs. Vesperman merely as tenants at her family's former rental property, we can well imagine the degree of affection her duteous care and warm interest must have elicited (which is really to say, 'taught') among those brought within the closer sphere of her own home. "Mrs. Vesperman not only had her hands full with 8 kids of her own, but also had her hands full with all of their friends who spent a lot of time at the Vesperman house. Whether it was an offer of a seat at the dinner table, a sandwich at lunch, or a ride home at bar time - Joe:-) she was always welcoming and had incredible patience. She was one of a kind and will be fondly remembered. Mark Beckman "

" We lived next to the Vesperman's in the 1970's. Katheryn was the kindest neighbor, and friend ever!!! Our son, Phil was almost 18 months when we moved to Regent St. When he was 2-3 years old, he said he wanted to be a Vesperman when he grew up. He would run out the backdoor, and I would find him in the Vesperman's hom.(even if no one was home). Many times, Kathryn would send him home, after a few minutes, with a little bag of warm cookies. The Vesperman household was the gathering place for all their kid's friends. Kathryn was always home with her large family. She was the glue that held them together. My thoughts and prayers are for the whole family. All the kids were kind, and generous like Kathryn and Gerry. As Always, Linda and Dave Petit"

"Our dear Kathryn perfected the hardest occupation in the world; that of mother. She began perfecting her role by having to keep me, her youngest sibling, in tow for our mother. We loved her dearly and she will always be in our hearts and minds. God bless you Kathryn and I will see you on the other side. Thank you for being you. Your brother Richard."
