"Don & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I extend my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time for guidance, strength and continued faith."
"My deepest sympathies to Don, and all the children and grandchildren who were the light of Linda's life, and the reason she endured so many health challenges over the years, with her customary dignity and grace. I, too, was blessed to have Linda in my life and to work with and be befriended by one of the most competent and caring people I have ever known at the University of Iowa. Linda always went the extra mile without complaint. She made those around her look good without taking the credit she richly deserved for doing so. Humble, devoted to family, hard-working, patient and kind cannot begin to characterize the enduring qualities of this remarkable woman. "
"Dear Don and family, We are so very sorry for your sadness and loss. Thinking of you and praying for you. Richard and Kathy"
