Thomas Edwards
August 13, 1929 - June 12, 2017

Thomas Edwards, of Antigo, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Rose Mary Manor in Mattoon under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 87 years old. He was born on August 13, 1929 in Antigo, a son of Roy and Marion (Ullman) Edwards. He married Betty Greisinger on August 10, 1957 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives.

He was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1947.

Tom served in the United States Army from January 4, 1951 to December 28, 1952 having been stationed in Germany.

He was a self employed truck driver for several years. Tom worked at Quinlan's Equipment as a mechanic for many years, retiring in 1995. In retirement he made cedar furniture and operated a portable sawmill.

Survivors including his wife are three daughters, Julie Kraning and Dennis, Pulaski, Jolene (Fred) Zarda, Antigo, Jeanine Edwards, Green Bay; a son, Jon Edwards and Marsha Antigo; four Grandchildren, Jake (Jodie), Corrine (Julian), Josh and Nicole, Tyler (Stacey); eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Gloria Edwards, Antigo.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Jeff and Jay Edwards; two brothers, Dale and Leon Edwards.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
