Emilie Barjona Anderson, age 20 of Newton, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Assembly of God in Colfax. Burial will take place at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com
The daughter of Ross and Sandra Anderson, Emilie was born on March 27, 1997, in Des Moines. She worked at Moo's BBQ in Newton. Emilie is survived by her mother, Sandra; siblings, Ashley (Devin) Mason of Newton, Brittany (Tony) Audas of Colfax, Fallon Anderson of Orion, Illinois, Caleb Anderson of Colfax, Daisy Anderson of Colfax, Genessa Anderson of Orion, Illinois and Joshua Anderson of Orion, Illinois; her grandparents, Larry (Elaine) Anderson of Colfax and Cindy (Jim) Kringstad of Sebring, Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death her father, Ross and several aunts and uncles.
