Shirley Winnona Smith, 79, a longtime resident of Lynnwood, passed away July 21, 2017. She was born May 30, 1938 in Apple Valley, Idaho, to Margery and Buford Standerfer.
A dedicated mother; she devoted 62 years to the life she made for her dearly loved family of five children and husband, Roger Smith.
She was a mother, artist, dreamer, a great cook, and a pioneer throughout her life - always finding new and unique outlets to express her creativity. Her compassion and love knew no bounds, and she welcomed everyone into her home with open arms.
She is now with her husband Roger who passed in February. She is survived by: sons, Mike and Dan Smith; daughters, Brenda Sorensen, Karen Gibson and Amie McNiven; 7 grandchildren; and brother, Byron Standerfer.
Memorial Services are Sunday August 20, 2017 2:00pm. Our Savior Lutheran Church, 215 Mukilteo, Everett, WA
