Kathleen Ruth Thomson
April 1, 1923 - August 2, 2017

Kathleen Thomson, age 94, passed away peacefully with family at her side on August 2, 2017.
Kathleen was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on April 1st, 1923.
Kay is preceded in death by her 1st husband Herbert Ostrander and her 2nd husband Floyd Thomson
She has a sister Patricia Overfield
She is survived by her children, sons Herbert "Randy" Ostrander and his partner Lynn Scott. Steven Maxwell Ostrander and his partner Leonard Tewes, and daughter Kathy Ostrander.
Grandchildren Steven Edward Ostrander, Starla Roseen and her spouse Jason, Lisa Reynolds and her spouse Rick, Kathleen Ari and her spouse Deniz, Marcia Ostrander and Teresa Ostrander.
Great Grand Children Gage Hanson, Braydon Ostrander, Kalli Glockner, Devun Roseen, Mason Roseen, Kendal Reynolds, Kylee Reynolds, Jayden Ari & Kaylin Ari.


Kay lived her life to the fullest and loved everyone she met. She was a second mother to all her children and their friends throughout the years who adored her and called her "mom". She had an open door policy and took in family and friends without any questions asked. Helped and volunteered with the homeless and anyone she ran into. She loved to go on long drives especially to Snoqualmie Falls, reading, especially murder mysteries, and watching the Mariners.
She will be remembered mostly for her laugh, being a joker and always singing!

Kathleen was a Catholic and is already on her next journey. She will be laid to rest with a graveside memorial on Wednesday August 9th 11:30AM at Gethsemane Cemetery 37600 Pacific Hwy S Federal Way, WA. Family and friends will be invited to a Celebration of Life following the graveside service around 1:00PM hosted by Don Wheeler / Horseshoe Acres 1540 Maple Lane Kent WA to remember Kay.
