Jean Chandler Hughes, 91, of Bothell, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017, at the Redmond Care and Rehabilitation Center. Jean was born on April 9, 1926, in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Wallace and Florence (Lucas) Chandler. Jean was a graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gerald Hughes, her brother, Wallace Chandler, and three sisters, Mabel Alice Duch, Flora Louise Lyon and Mary Beth Edmonston.

"Her A.P. of ?Ghost Horses on the Columbia? was found today at a shop in Quincy, WA. My Aunt was a friend of hers in Desert Aire who had a painting of hers and two Artist Proofs. A very accomplished artist and wonder if she left a record of her Artist Proofs? Linda Hokanson, Wenatchee, WA"
