Rochester- Funeral Services for Doreen E. Moore, age 84 who died Monday, March 29th 2010 will be 1:30 P.M Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rochester, with Rev. Fred Ringstorf officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 12:00 Noon until the time of Service.Doreen Eunice Bicknese was born in Wykoff, Mn. On December 22, 1925. After High School she attended Mankato State College where she studied Business. She married Arthur L. Moore in Wykoff December 29, 1945. They moved to Rochester where Mr. Moore worked for Rochester Dairy and then the Rochester Public School system. Doreen worked at Waters Connley during the War years and then worked at the Mayo Clinic retiring in 1988 after 32 years.She enjoyed going to Arizona with her husband, having coffee at Mc Donald's with friends, Crocheting, Quilting and collecting Angels. She was a long time member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Moore (Beverly) of Wabasha, MN and William Moore (Dolores) of Rochester. MN; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; 1 granddaughter; 1 sister; 6 half brothers; and 1 half sister.

"Our sympathy to you following the death of your mom but also know that it is a relief after such a sudden turn in her health. I will be on the Honor Flight in Washington DC on Saturday so will miss the funeral and visitation. We hope to see you again on a happier occasion soon."
