ROCHESTER - Colleen Joan (Paulson) Kennedy, 39, died April 8, 2010 at Rochester Methodist Hospital after a lengthly illness. Colleen was born June 25, 1970 in Rochester to Harold and Marlene (Vicker) Paulson. She was raised in Rochester, graduating from John Marshall High School in 1989. While in high school she worked at Long John Silvers and the Rochester Mail Center. She married Darren J. Kennedy November 12, 1994 in Rochester. The couple made their home in Rochester. They later then moved to Pringle, South Dakota where Colleen worked in a customer service call center. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, photography, fishing and spending time with friends and family. She will especially enjoyed spoiling her many nieces and nephews. Colleen is survived by her husband Darren, of Pringle, SD, her parents Harold and Marlene Paulson, of Rochester, mother-in-law Diane William of Rochester, siblings Dawn (Wayne) Witte) of Morristown, MN, David (Candie) Paulson of York, Pennsylvania, Kevin (Joy) Paulson of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Jonathan Paulson, of Ft. Meyers, FL, Trudy Paulson, of Des Moines, IA and numerous nieces and nephews. Colleen is preceded in death by her grandparents. A Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the New Life Worship Center (6301 34th Avenue NW, Rochester, 282-7201) Visitation will be 4:00 PM -7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home and an hour prior to the service on Tuesday at church. The Committal Service will take place at East St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery, Rock Dell Township, Minnesota.
