Linda R. Hollister
November 27, 1948 - April 9, 2010

ROCHESTER, MINN: Linda R. Hollister, 61, died Friday, April 9, 2010, after a brief illness at St. Marys Hospital. Linda was born November 27, 1948 to Ray and Ferne (Olson) Hollister in Rochester, MN. In 1967, she graduated from John Marshall High School. After graduation, Linda completed her P.C.A. (Patient Care Assistant) training at Rochester Methodist Hospital and continued to work there for over forty-two years. She enjoyed snow skiing, music, flowers, sewing and shopping. Linda traveled to Branson, MO and the beaches of Florida. She thoroughly loved being at doting aunt. Linda was a long time member of Zumbro Lutheran Church. Linda is survived by her sister Diane (Martin) Schmoll, Mora, MN and her brother Randy (Kathleen) Hollister, Rochester, MN, two nieces; Kelley and Rachel, and four nephews; Daniel, Abraham, Isaac, and Noah. She was loved and will be missed by her many friends and colleagues. She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Ferne and an infant brother Jerry. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April, 12, 2010 at Zumbro Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
