Eyota: Thomas "Tommy" James Thompson is the loving son of Ken Thompson and Star Recore. Tommy was born on December 25, 2003. He went to the Lord on May 8, 2010, after fighting a long battle of cancer at St. Marys Hospital. He resided in Eyota, MN.Tommy was currently a kindergarten student at Longfellow Elementary School. He enjoyed playing outside on his trampoline and with his pocket rocket. Most of all, Tommy enjoyed riding his four wheeler.Tommy loved demolition derby's, he loved the monster trucks the best. He was also a member of the Ruff Riders.He leaves in memory his parents; a brother, Dalton; a sister, Jasmine; and a sister, Jessie; two step brothers, Raymond and Michael; and one step sister, Liz, who all live in Minnesota; his grandparents, Steven and Wendy Recore of Fulton, New York; several Aunts and Uncles; two nephews and one niece; and several other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his cousin, Adam Cook; great grandparents, Marjorie J. and William S. Bennet, Sr.; two uncles, Dennis Richardson and Lenny Recore.A funeral service for Tommy will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes.
