Gwendolyn L. Dunn - Rochester, MNGwendolyn L. Dunn, 79, of Rochester, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at her residence.Gwendolyn Lou McKeever was born March 26, 1931 in Monticello, MN to Joseph and Mildred (Ogg) McKeever. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1949. She married Charles Dunn on June 22, 1952 in Worthington, MN. She was a teacher in Heron Lake, MN from 1952-1954. When her husband returned home from the Military, they moved to Kasson-Mantorville area and they taught school from 1954-1958. They then taught school from 1958-1962 in Long Prairie, MN. They moved to Rochester in 1962. While her husband taught at Kellogg Junior High, then at John Adams Junior High, Gwendolyn worked at the Olmsted County Historical Society, giving tours at Mayowood and scheduling events. She enjoyed carving small ornaments out of wood.She is survived by her husband; two sons, Timothy (Jill) Dunn of Riverton, NJ and Randal (Susan) Dunn of Wellington, FL; four grandchildren, Andrea (Rob) Stack of Orlando, FL, Tracey Dunn of Lake Worth, FL, Max Dunn of Wellington, FL and Lily Dunn of Riverton, NJ; one sister, Jackie (Jerry) Kanne of Eagen, MN; and one brother, Larry (Carol) McKeever of Worthington, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.A memorial service will be Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2830 - 18th Ave NW, Rochester, with the Reverend Peter Nycelmoe officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Lutheran Church Columbarium. A visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
