David H. Dutton, 45, of Rochester, died Monday, June 14, 2010 at his home.David Harold Dutton was born October 3, 1964 to Howard and Barbara (Lehman) Dutton in Rochester, MN. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1983. He worked for the Zumbrota Police Department then went on to work for the Rochester Police Department. David married Lisa Moilanen on April 23, 1999. He was a retired K-9 officer and his beloved K-9 partner was Astro. David was a devoted and loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. David is survived by his wife, Lisa, his daughter, Sydney; his parents, Howard and Barbara Dutton of Rochester; his twin brother, Daniel Dutton of Harmony, MN; brothers, Michael (Therese) Dutton of Rochester, Gary Dutton of Rochester, and Bruce Dutton of Stewartville; father and mother in-law, Robert and Kathy Moilanen of Aitkin, MN; brothers in-law, Casey (Lyn) Moilanen of Rochester, Sean (Heather) Moilanen of Bloomington, MN; sister in-law, Angie (Brian) Rezny of Farmington, MN; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, uncle, and his beloved K-9, Astro. A visitation will be held on Thursday June 17, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Congregational Church, 965 - 17th Ave SW, Rochester, MN. The Reverend Ronald Meyer will be the officiate.A memorial fund has been established for David's daughter, Sydney at the Mayo Credit Union, 3990 - 41st Street NW, Rochester, MN 55901.
