Delores "Dee" Irene Schleusner
August 5, 1947 - July 8, 2010

Delores "Dee" Irene Schleusner, 62, of Rochester passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Dee was born Aug 5, 1947 in Cresco, Iowa to Herbert and Loretta (Eiffler) Mohr. She grew up on the family farm in Lime Springs, Iowa. She later graduated from Crestwood High School. Dee married Dennis Murphy in 1968, and later divorced in 1977. In 1973 she moved to Rochester. While in Rochester she started "Dee's Daycare," a business which she ran for 25 years. Dee touched many people's lives though her daycare. Many of the children she took care of became lifelong friends. In 1997 she started working at Mayo Clinic, first in the Environmental Services department and later General Services department . She retired from Mayo Clinic in 2009. On March 25, 2006 she married Clarence Schleusner at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester. She was a member of the Eagles Auxillary and Bethel Lutheran Church. Dee enjoyed camping, traveling, golf and spending time with family. Dee also enjoyed watching "Little House on the Prairie" and following soap operas. Dee is lovingly remembered by her husband Clancy, of Rochester, her daughters, Kristine (Chris) Ihrke of Byron, and Stacie (Tim)Reed of Port Washington, WI; step-children, Jim (Susan) Schleusner of Champlain, MN, Mark (DeAnna) Schleusner of Rochester, and Brenda (Harley) Schleusner, of Rochester; four grandchildren, Dawson, Cassidy, Jackson, and Isabel; and four step-grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Claire, and Alaina. She is also survived by three sisters, Lois (Bill) Reinhart, of Cresco, IA, Darlene (Roger) Glawe of Janesville, IA, and Linda (Larry) Trende of Cresco, IA. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday July 12, 2010 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 810 - 3rd Ave SE in Rochester. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and half an hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
