KASSON - The Memorial Service for Sandra K. Ripley will be11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Bethel LutheranChurch (810 3rd Avenue SoutheastRochester, MN 55904-7394) with Rev. Anjanette Ristofficiating. A reception will follow the service at thechurch.Mrs. Ripley, 67, a resident of Kasson, died peacefully inthe presence of her family Wednesday afternoon, July 14,2010, at St. Marys Hospital, from a short illness.Sandra Kay Ripley was born October 11, 1942 in Wabasha,Minnesota to Roland J. and Dorothy (Nesler) Radke. Shegraduated from Elgin High School in1960. She married CarylD. Ripley on November 16th, 1963 in Elgin.Sandra was a homemaker. Shortly after her graduation sheworked as a Nurses Aid at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.Later Sandra and Caryl raised their three children on thefamily farm near Rochester. She also enjoyed being a daycareprovider for 10 years. She enjoyed many different sewingactivities and making fresh chocolate chip cookies for hergrandsons.In addition to her husband, she is survived by threechildren: Tamara Schultz, Tim (Lisa) Ripley, & TiffaniRipley. Five grandchildren survive: Dylan, Brandon, Bryan,Zach, and Collin. She is also survived by three brothers:Robert (Connie) Radke, Bill (Barb) Radke, and Ted (Berde)Radke. She was preceded in death by her parents, and hersister Judy.Friends may call from one hour prior to services at BethelLutheran Church. Sandra's request was to be cremated.Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes are assisting the familywith arrangements. 289-3600.
