Funeral services for Alice M. Ick, 85 of Rochester, MN died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 of cancer. Services will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes with the Mr. Claire Vomhof officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Alice Mae Bartz was born on May 2, 1925 in Plainview, MN to Edward and Edna (Holst) Bartz. Alice graduated from Plainview High School and married Eldon Lawrence Ick on January 6, 1957 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview. She worked at Montomery Wards and Dayton's until retirement. Alice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed many festive times with family and friends, cooking, playing cards, reading and books on tape.Survivors include 2 daughters, Ana Lambrecht (Dean Teiwaz) of Minneapolis, MN and Barb (Greg) Button of Rochester; son, Larry Ick of Rochester, MN and grandson, Brandon Button of Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eldon and 3 brothers, Virgil, Dale and Ervin.Memorials can be directed to the Mayo Clinic Hospice.
