Rochester- The memorial services for Joseph M. Day will be at 11:00A.M. Friday November 5, 2010 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Joseph Michael Day, 37 of Rochester died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at St Mary's Hospital.Joseph was born January 21, 1973 to William Lloyd and Barbara (Mensing) Day in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. He grew up in Byron. He graduated from Byron High School in 1991. Joseph worked as a laboratory technician at the Mayo Clinic and was attending night classes at RCTC towards a Bachelors Degree in laboratory science. He enjoyed Football, especially watching the Minnesota Vikings, spending time with his friends and family, going fishing and working on computers.Joseph is survived by his daughter Ashley Marie Day, his mother Barbara, 2 brothers, John and Justin, grandmother Dorothy Mensing-Van Lith (Eugene) and grandfather Dean Day, and a special friend Jaclyn Holden.He is preceded in death by his father, a sister Jennifer Lee Day, Grandmother Donna Day and grandfather Kenneth Mensing.Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. On Thursday at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and then on Friday from 10:00 A.M. Until the time of service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson, MN.
