ROCHESTER - Burton R. Baldwin, 77, died on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Sunrise Cottages in Rochester.Burton was born in Newton, KS on November 16, 1933 to Raymond and Rilla (Williams) Baldwin. After getting his Master's degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, he moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, for work at INEL until his retirement. He continued to live there until last year when he moved here to be near his daughter. Burton is survived by four children, Arthur R.E. Baldwin, of Salt Lake City, UT, Bruce W. (Donna) Baldwin, of Redondo Beach, CA, Barbara B. (Harold) Solbrig, of Rochester, and Nina F. Baldwin, of Idaho Falls, ID; three step children, and five grandchildren.Burton is preceded in death by his wife, Susan; and his parents.A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 1884 22nd Street NW, with Rev. Dr. Douglas Sparks officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place at a later date in Idaho Falls, ID.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or Channel One Food Bank.
