"Doug was my first cousin. Our mothers were sisters. I had not seen Doug in many years, but I remember him as such a cute boy. He had dimples, curly hair and a really sweet smile. We cousins always had so much fun at our grandmother's house on special occasions. My very deepest sympathy to Doug's wife. He will be remembered in my prayers."

Susan Le'Veille' wrote on Mar 4, 2011:

"Doug was my first cousin. He sent my mom, his Aunt Gert, a nice card with a handwritten note for her 95th birthday. The cousins had wonderful times at our grandparent's home and other occasions growing up. Sympathy to his wife. Susan (LeVoir) LeVeille"

"I had Mr. Ocheltree for 10th grade English and know that he changed my life a great deal. Was sorry to hear of your loss. Am sure that he added a great deal to your lives. Just thinking about the day he was playing "Mr. Tamberine Man" on his guitar and no one in the class recognised it. Remember "Our Goodly Fare" and "Death Of A Ball Turret Gunner". Two poems that I remember. Wow! I will miss him. Thanks Dave K."
