"Willard was a kind person and a gentleman. Whenever I spoke with him he was kind, lively and was genuinely interested in the conversation he was having. I wish we could have spent more time with him. His wife Beverly was also an amazing woman, who I would say the same things about. They never forgot us on Christmas and when our son was born, they sent a very adorable little coat hanger. Willard is my husband's godfather, and he never forgot Jan on his birthday. Both Willard and Beverly traveled to our summer wedding in Minneapolis all the way from Maryland. The church was extremely hot and we had a lot of clean up after the reception. They both, without thinking twice, pitched in and helped us completely pick everything up! This wasn't so long ago either. Willard would have been 77.I know his family, especially his brother, Norman and son, Larry, will miss him often.I am honored to have met and spent some time with Willard (and Beverly)."
