Lenore Mildred VanbergStatement of Life. On February 24th, 2011 our dear Lenore went home to walk with Jesus. She was 87 years "Young at Heart". Lenore was born in Hartland Township, Pierce County, Wisconsin in 1923. She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, niece, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a kind, caring nurse and a wonderful generous friend who loved to sing out the praises to our Lord. Lenore is now joined in Heaven with Leon, her husband of 44 years and our precious sister Linda, who went home to Jesus only 3 weeks ago. Lenore is survived on this Earth by 5 children, Sue Schock, Dick Vanberg, Paul Vanberg, Jane Fulton, Amy Daugherty and their spouses (who loved her as a mother too), her special niece Judy Halm, 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren (a new one on the way) and many dear friends. A memorial will be held for Lenore on March 19th, 2011 at the Assembly of God Church on 18th Ave. NW at 1:00 p.m. Visitation with family and friends will start at 12 p.m. Fellowship and "a little lunch" to follow. Interment of her ashes will be held in the Spring at Hartland Methodist Church, Wisconsin. Monetary gifts in lieu of flowers can be sent in Lenore's name to The Salvation Army of Rochester.
