Mantorville--A Memorial Service for Jean Kirchner, age 54 will be held at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home in Rochester, MN. OnTuesday October 11, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Paul Brushaberofficiating, Visitation at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home will be on Monday evening from 5:00P.M. To 8:00 P.M and then on Tuesday from 1:00P.M. until the time of the Service.The family requests that any memorials be directed to Seasons Hospice.
Jean, a breast cancer survivor,passed away at Seasons Hospice on October 5, 2011, after a short and courageous battle with lung cancer.
Jean Anne Boeke was born July 24, 1957 to Donald and Luanne (Grass) Boeke in Owatonna, MN.
She graduated from Owatonna Sr. High School, Class of 75.She married Robert Bob Kirchner, June 19, 1976 in Owatonna.They moved to San Jose, California where Bob was serving in the U.S. Navy.In 1985 she and her family moved to Madison, Wisconsin. Sheowned and operated a picture framing shop in Middleton, Wisconsin.In 1996she moved to Rochester.She recently worked for Edward Jones as a Sr. Branch Officer and Administrator. Jeans husband Bob works for the Mayo Clinic at St. Marys Hospital as an R.N.
Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, Beading, Gardening and her dog Aengus.
She is survived by her husband, Bob
Daughters; Sarah Jean Kirchner Sheldon (Dan) of St. Paul, Mn., Jillian DeAnne Kirchner of Rochester, MN and one step-grandson, Noah Sheldon.
Two sisters; Susan (Sue) Sachs (Greg) of Minnetonka, MN.
Trisha Boeke (Terry Mahlman) of Mankato, MN ; One brother; Daniel Boeke (Laurie) of Owatonna, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Timothy Boeke.
