Twylah Maurine Mueller

ROCHESTER, MINN:Twylah M. Mueller, 72, of Rochester died peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.

Twylah was born March 11, 1939 in Hayfield, MN, the daughter of Oscar and Fern Hegna.She graduated from Hayfield High School in 1957.On November 23, 1957 she married Harold Mueller at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield.They farmed near Hayfield until 1962 when they moved to Rochester.

More than anything Twylah loved spending time with her family and friends.She also enjoyed cooking and baking.She especially liked to bake cookies to give to friends.She loved caring for children.Twylah was great with kids of all ages.

Twylah's friendly smile, the sparkle in her eyes, her great sense of humor and love of life will be greatly missed.

Survivors include a son Mark (Michelle) of Rochester, a daughter, Sara Vinje of Rochester, grandson, Spencer Vinje, sisters, Wandah Nielson of Hayfield, MN and LaFaye (Lerald) Farrow of Blooming Prairie, MN, and many nieces, nephews and good friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold, and two brothers, Verlyn and Robert.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 512 - 3rd Street SW, Rochester with the Reverend Jay Rowland and Reverend T.J. Parlette officiating.Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8th, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield, MN.

Memorials are sugested to First Presbyterian Church in Rochester or Seasons Hospice.
