ORONOCO -Kathleen Kathy S. Krudwig, 66, died on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Rochester Methodist Hospital surrounded by her family.
Kathy was born in Red Wing, MN on January 23, 1945 to Arthur Sr. and Lucille (Bowers) Kaul.She married James Krudwig on June 10, 1972 in Oronoco.For many years, she was a loving daycare provider and a successful Longaberger consultant.She was an active member at Grace Lutheran Church in Oronoco and served in the Ladies Aid.Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Molly.She also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gardening and flowers, her Koi pond, and vacationing on the North Shore.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jim; six children, Lora (Bill) Walker, of Pine Island, Karise (Jeff) Peleaux, of Arkansas, Janice (Mike) Jensen, of Texas, Joanna (Clay) Wittlief, of Oronoco, Constance (Todd) Wileman, of Rochester, and Kerry Krudwig, of Oronoco; a brother, Art (Mary) Kaul, of Oronoco; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church, 45 1st Ave NW in Oronoco with Rev. Ben Kempfert officiating.Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the church.
