"Dear Kathy, Rob, Paul, Janet, and all of our wonderful relatives, including Dad and Mom, We are really going to miss my Aunt Char! What a vibrant, enthusiastic, and loving woman she has been to so many of us. In many ways, she has been like a second mother to the Wisconsin Boelters (Mark, Barb, and Peg) and Tjode and I here in Minnesota. Her support, perspective, and sense of humor will surely be missed by all of us. Cindy and I are so glad that we were able to visit her one last time just two Saturdays ago. Even less than a week before her death, she was as sharp as could be, and she told us stories as only she could. As I've been driving to Rochester for volleyball during the past week, it has been very sad to think that we can't visit her anymore in this life. However, we look forward to seeing her again in the next life! I'm so glad that she doesn't have to suffer anymore and have the limitations that have restricted her so much in recent times. Pretty tough for such an active spirit like her. God bless you, Aunt Char! You were the best!"
"Ever since Aunt Char moved to Windom, she has been a cheerleader to our family. She was always the first one to congratulate you or share your excitement over a new venture or accomplishment. I feel so blessed to have had her near to the family in so many ways over the years. Often, I looked to her examples of strength, leadership and loyalty to encourage me when I doubted myself. I maybe haven't emulated her in many ways but I certainly admired her in many! I loved her and will miss her "anchor place" and enthusiasm in our family. I know I can count on her for her encouragement from above!"
