BYRON, MINN:Randy M. Strain, 56, of Byron, MN. died Monday, May 12, 2014 at his residence in Byron.
Randy Manfred Strain was born October 26, 1957 to Manfred and Burnette (Liskow) Strain in Rochester, MN. He graduated from Byron High School in 1975.On November 1, 1975, he married Judith Zieman in Chatfield, MN. Randy worked for Larry Brooks Builders and Crenlo in Rochester and most recently for McNeilus in Dodge Center at the time of his death.He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Randy is survived by his wife, Judy, of Byron; two daughters, Nicole Molitor of Rochester, MN and Emma Strain of Byron; one son, Charles Strain of Byron; five grandchildren; and three brothers, David (Jo Marie) Strain of Byron, Duane (Gail) Strain of Byron and Larry (Gloria) Strain of Cannon Falls, MN.He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Byron United Methodist Church in Byron, MN with Reverend Sharon Nelson officiating.Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW in Rochester, MN. and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church in Byron.Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Salem Corners, MN.
