Juanita Anna Schroeder

Juanita Anna Schroeder, 93, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Maple Manor Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Juanita was born January 14, 1922 in Winthrop, MN to Paul Carl William and Emma (Rose) Bubolz. On December 7, 1942 Juanita married Donald Floyd Schroeder. She enjoyed spending her time tending to the flowers in her garden, sewing, crocheting, reading and making some of the best pies. Juanita was known for her sense of humor, being generous with her time and her caring, kind hearted nature. Juanita was very active at Bethel Lutheran Church, where she was a member. Above all, Juanita loved spending time, making memories with her family.

Juanita is survived by her children, Donald K. (Diane) of Rochester, Brenda Grant of Minneapolis, Jane (Gary) Robertson of Rochester; grandchildren, Kendal Zwiefel, Lori (Kevin) Tischer, Ben (Sara) Schroeder, Nicole (Brian) Goodwill, Tiffany Robertson and five great-grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Kathy Ross; sister, Mildred Bern and her parents, Paul and Emma.

A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW., Rochester. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00PM Friday, January 8, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
