Louelyn F. Reinecke
December 28, 1939 - August 5, 2017

Louelyn Faith Reinecke passed away at home under hospice care on August 5, 2017, following a chronic respiratory illness, a complication of Multiple Sclerosis. Visitation will be at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home Friday, August 11th, from 5 7pm. The funeral will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 12th at 11AM with Pastor Adam Koglin officiating with visitation one hour before the service. Burial at Oakwood East Cemetery will directly follow the service.

Louelyn was born December 28th, 1939 to Louis and Evelyn (Goetz) Mann in Rochester, MN and graduated from Plainview High School in 1958. She attended Mankato Commercial College and after graduation, worked as a secretary for the State of Minnesota in the Vocational Rehabilitation Division for 6 years before becoming a mother and homemaker. On August 25, 1962, she married Marvin Reinecke at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview MN. They were looking forward to celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary in a few weeks.

In 1987, Louelyn was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (Primary progressive) and has been cared for with love and dedication by her husband in their home until her passing. For 30+ years, she enjoyed singing with the church choir and has been a longstanding member of the Rebecca Circle at Redeemer. She also enjoyed listening to music, reading, and attending many plays, music concerts and her husbands Exchange Club events. She also loved keeping up with her grandchildrens activities.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Reinecke, 3 children, Cheryl (Patrick) Lehnherr (Savage, MN), Brian (Jennifer) Reinecke (Lakewood, CO), Mark (Misty) Reinecke (Manchester, TN) and 5 grandchildren, Katie Lehnherr, Thomas Lehnherr, William Lehnherr, Gretchen Reinecke and Christopher Walker - Reinecke; and one brother, Robert (Marilyn) Mann (Buchanan, MI).

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Elaine Bourquin.

Memorials in memory of Louelyn can be made to the MS Society (MN chapter), or Redeemer Lutheran Church, 869 7th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904.
