Bernard A. Coley
March 13, 1941 - September 5, 2017

Bernard "Bernie" Coley, of Antigo, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at his home. He was 76 years old. He was born on March 13, 1941 in Milwaukee, a son of Marie (Thielitz) Coley of Antigo and the late Merle Coley.

He married Loretta Steckbauer in 1968, the couple was later divorced.

Bernie graduated from White Lake High School. Bernie served in the United States Marine Corps for four years having been stationed at Camp Pendleton in California.

He was a foreman at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac and moved to Antigo in 1991.

Bernie enjoyed working with his hands, having made many yard ornaments. He made a train which can be found displayed along Hwy 45 in front of Two Angels Restaurant, where he enjoyed a daily meal. He also enjoyed bowling.

In addition to his mother, survivors include two daughters, Constance Kabacinski of De Pere and Jacqueline (Andy) Boyd of Antigo; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Boyd and Stephen Coley both of Antigo; two sisters, Ann (Ray) Monson of Antigo and Jean (Denis) Peterson; a brother, Ernie (Sharon) Coley of Tennessee; and a brother-in-law, Keith Hall of Oak Creek. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Colleen Hall.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 11 at 3 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Antigo veterans will conduct military honors at the funeral home following the service.
