Mildred Loebig Arndorfer, daughter of John and Anna Lickteig Loebig, was born December 6, 1911, in Wesley, Iowa. She received her education at St. Joseph Catholic School in Wesley.

On September 10, 1930, Mildred was united in marriage to Leonard Arndorfer at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley. Mildred was an active member of St. Joseph's Guild, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Joseph Church Choir and took pride in laundering the altar linens and cleaning the church sanctuary. She was a charter member of the Prairie Neighbor Homemakers Club, as well as, being active in the Kossuth County Women's Chorus, Hancock County 4-H County Committee and the Hancock Democratic Party. Mildred enjoyed playing cards and entertaining family and friends in her home.

Mildred died Thursday, December 2, 2004, at the Algona Good Samaritan Communities at the age 92.

She is survived by one son, Dan Arndorfer and wife Marianne of Marion, Iowa, and one daughter, Sister Vicky Arndorfer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard on August 14, 1996; her parents; a brother, Victor Loebig; and a sister, Marie Doughan on November 8, 2004.
