Mr. J.D. Finch
September 20, 1940 - July 27, 2017

MR. J.D. FINCH, Jr. the son of the late J.D. Finch, Sr. and Dollie Mae Pen Finch was born September 20, 1940 in Opelika, Al. J.D. was the 3rd oldest of eight children. J.D. attended J.W. Darden School. Then J.D. attended Washington High School. After High School J.D. went into the navy where he served eight years. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Barbara Finch. This union was blessed with two sons and two daughters. J.D. Finch coached several little leagues and always played on active role in his children’s activities growing up. J.D. retired from Ford Motor Company. Then part time as a bus monitor for Lawrence Township Schools. Mr. J.D. Finch, Jr. departed his life on July 28th, 2017 at the age of 76. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Finch and his daughter Rochelle Boyd. He leaves to cherish his loving memory two sons Brian Finch, Sr., Paul Finch; two daughters Deborah Jones, Viletta Weathers; 15 grand kids and 11 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and cherished friends.
