"I have only met Irene one time, and it was when I went with Nicki to visit her at her home. But I can see the impact she has had on her family, and through that, she will always be rememberd. I know how much she meant to all of her family, and you all are in my thoughts and prayers. "
"I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I remember her from when I was a child in Whittemore and from summer afternoons at the Home Cafe after I would leave the swimming pool to ride my bike home. I think she probably made me a few nickel cherry fountain cokes on those hot summer days. Please accept my deepest condolences and may she rest in peace. Sincerely, Diane Cayton-Hakey "

"It was a great pleasure knowing Irene. Irene was a gifted lady, had many talents. She also was a very strong christian and faithful lady. I played cards with Irene she didnt like to lose or get behind in "Ticky". I gave her a police scanner to listen to which she did enjoy. Irene always had a smile, friendly, and always laughing. She cared about people, and seemed to enjoy going places and talking about her family and grandkids. God Bless the family of Irene, and god bless Irene Reed."
