Larry L. Tebben

Larry LeRoy Tebben was born on March 2, 1938, at Clear Lake, Iowa, to Anthony G. and Doris (Waddingham) Tebben. Larry graduated from Litchfield, Minnesota High School in 1956, and was married to Sharon Terrel on November 14, 1958, in Britt, Iowa. The couple lived in Corwith where Larry worked for Eagle Grove Transport. They later moved to Brainerd, Minnesota, where he worked for Anderson Brothers Construction. It was there where Larry joined the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. When Larry and Sharon moved to Austin, Texas, Larry worked for the City of Austin. He retired in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Larry enjoyed his friends and numerous road trips.

Larry also enjoyed working puzzles and reading western books. His many nieces and nephews lovingly referred to him as "Uncle Grazer".

Larry died unexpectedly on December 6, 2010, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Survivors include a son Larry Tebben and wife Brenda of Redfield, South Dakota and their children, Jake, Julie and Jamie; daughter Lori and her husband Larry Jepsen of Papillion, Nebraska and their children Jessica and Jeremiah; son John Tebben of Austin, Texas; son Robert Tebben and wife Cathi of Mound, Oklahoma, and their children Joshua and Jenifer. Also surviving is Zirla's daughter Christina Francis of New Hope, Minnesota, two brothers, Russel Tebben and wife, Dona, Corwith, Iowa, Michael Tebben and wife, Jan, Oak Grove, Missouri and his sister-in-law, Arlene Tebben, Wall Lake, Iowa. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon on July 26, 2003, daughter Zirla, brothers Richard, Robert and Lenny, and nephews Tony Tebben and Dan Tebben.

"Please accept my condolences, late as I was out of town at the time of services. I only know Lucky through our water aerobics and was always amazed that she knew all the lyrics to the songs. Her "spot" there was next to mine and it still seems like she is singing next to me. May she rest in peace."
