Dan passed away peacefully Friday, October 20, 2017 with his wife Debby and daughters by his side.
Dan was born March 9, 1952 in Toledo, Oregon to Lawrence and Mary Lou Frank.
He was raised in a military family, the second of four children. They moved about, from Oregon, Hawaii, Alaska, Virginia, New York, always returning to Seattle where their Grandmother, Esther Kent resided.
Dan met his wife of 47 years when they were just 15 and 14 years old. They married on October 24, 1970. Their first daughter Christy was born July of 1971, and Danielle followed December of 1973.
Dan worked as an automobile Sales Manager in Bellevue for many years, then owned his own businesses, from auto leasing to construction. He did not "retire" until he was diagnosed with Cancer in July 2017.
Dan and Debby have been active members of the Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club for twenty years. They very much enjoyed boating and the company of their many friends. He also liked to play poker at local casinos.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife Debby, his daughters Christy Bressler and Danielle Haight (Todd), his five grandchildren, Dan and Emily Bressler, Olivia, Henry and Harrison Haight.
He is also survived by his mother Mary Lou, brothers Lawrence Jr. (Yvonne) and David (Terry) and sister Ann Marie (Carl), brothers in law Russell (Mary) and Keith Jones, numerous nieces and nephews, many more family members, and too many friends to count.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Frank, and father and mother in law Stanley and Laurel Jones.
Dan was kind and generous and will be sorely missed by many.
Dan's celebration of life will take place at Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club,9927 Meydenbauer Way SE, Bellevue, WA 98004, Sunday November 12th at 2:00 Some shuttling for overflow parking will be available from Bellevue High School
