Steven Allen White, 53, of Forest Lake, retired Navy Lieutenant Commander, died on June 26, 2006.
Preceded in death by his father, Loren E. White.
Survived by his wife, Peggy; his two daughters, Heather (Luis) Lopez of Eureka, CA and Kari (Ben) Jackson of San Ramon, CA; mother June White of Cohasset, MN; grandchildren, Anthony and Mia Lopez, Derek Jackson; sisters Vicky (Dave) Schiller; Nancy (Jerry) Kuley, Linda (Gary) Fleck, Leslie White; many beloved nieces, nephews, and cadets of Arlington High School.
Steven attended MSU in Moorhead, UMD Duluth, and Nava Post graduate School in Monterey, CA. LCDR White served his country in the US Navy for 23 years and was currently Naval JROTC instructor at Arlington High School in St. Paul's North End. His contributions to Nebraska Habitat for Humanity, Thanksgiving Lutheran Church, Bellevue West Marching Band and St. Paul's North End will not be forgotten.  His friendship and leadership will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Â
Memorial serive 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 5 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail North, Forest Lake. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 2 PM Wednesday.Â
