William Joseph Campbell

William Joseph Campbell (Bill), 64, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away peacefully on November 19th. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William and Steffie Campbell in 1952. Married his best friend and the love of his life, Susan Campbell in Pueblo, Colorado in 1978.

Bill was a passionate man who enjoyed the mountains, telling stories and spending time with his family. He worked as an electrician with IBEW Local 68 until he retired in December of 2013.

Bill was extremely loving and proud of his two daughters, Marcia Roe and Kristal Dunckhorst, his son-in laws Kelly Roe and Sam Dunckhorst and his grandchildren Corinne, Josephine, Patrick, Madeline, Samantha, Eliza, Maximilian, and Gabrielle. He is also survived by his wife, Susan Campbell; his mother, Steffie Campbell; his four sisters, Patricia Bibro (Mark), Ruth Conrad (Bill), Ellen Urbanek (Gary), and Colleen Halt (Russell) and sister-in-law Carol Campbell; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Funeral service will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Parish, 13120 E Kentucky Ave., Aurora CO 80012 on November 30, 2016 at 10 AM with Fr. Felix Medina-Algaba officiating. Private interment ceremony will follow at St Simeon Cemetery in Aurora. A memorial service will also be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, 310 Mansfield Ave., Pittsburgh PA 15220, on December 2, 2016, at 11:30 AM.

Bill enjoyed volunteering at Friends of St. Andrews, a food and assistance outreach ministry. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Friends of St. Andrew c/o Queen of Peace Church, 13120 E Kentucky Ave., Aurora CO 80012.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to The Denver Hospice for their concern and support in his final days.
