Mary Lou Eiter

Mary Lou Eiter, of Marinette, died Monday, November 13, 2017, at the Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette. She was 90 years old. She was born on September 13, 1927, in Antigo, a daughter of Louis and Anna (Suick) Stengl.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1945.

She was married to Don Listle, the couple divorced. On September 23, 1955, she married Edward Eiter in Eagle River. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2010.

Mary Lou worked in Washington D.C. as a secretary for the United States Navy. Returning to Antigo, she was employed as a proof reader for the Antigo Daily Journal and wrote commercials for WATK and WRLO radio stations.

She will be long remembered as the owner-operator of Mary Lou's bar. She and her husband operated the town of Rolling bar from 1955 to 1990.

She moved to Marinette in 2014 to live near family.

Through Mary Lou's Bar she sponsored pool teams, bowling teams and dart teams. She enjoyed completing jigsaw and crossword puzzles and was an avid snowmobile rider.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen (Dan) Klarich, Marinette; two sons, Bruce Eiter, Manitowoc, Andrew (Sharon) Eiter, Broadbrook, CT; a sister, Sr. M. Peter, Manitowoc. She was fondly known at "Grandma Dynamite" to: Grandson Steve ( Melissa ) Eiter - Chaska MN Great granddaughters Bairet - Reagan -and Ryan) Great Great Grandson : Hank Walsh; Granddaughter Gerri Seis Great Grandchildren Justin Bennett and Brittney ( Mike ) Garvey. Great great Granddaughter Layla Garvey; granddaughter Sherri ( Fernando) Baker) Greatgrand children Aaron , Diana and Samantha. 10 great great grandchildren
Granddaughter Whitney ( Rob ) Klarich Great granddaughter Kambria; Granddaughter Renee ( Ken ) Johnson. Great grand children James "Ipp" Britian, Kylar, Tristan, and Shyler. Great Great grandchildren James Jr. And Kendal and a Godson, David Monnot, of Milwaukee. She will be missed by special friends Shannon Woods, Kevin Bennetts, and the Jim Fleischman family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Bob Eiter; two sisters, Vivian Adamski, and Evelyn Stengl, two brothers, Elmer and Louie Stengl.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Schmidt, officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
