Canton Wanda Maxine Dorich, 93, of Canton passed away at 3:13 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Farmington Country Manor.
She was born January 20, 1923, in Fairview to Elden and Alta (Harn) Rohrer. She married Frank Dorich on March 10, 1944, during his enlistment in the United States Army. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2010.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael Lynn (Gloria) Dorich of Wheaton and Roderick Alan (Kathy) Dorich of Noblesville; one brother, Henry Rohrer of Canton; three grandchildren, Alan Dorich, Ann Daniel, and Kristin Dorich; and two great-grandchildren, Emma and Jameson Daniel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth Rohrer; and two sisters, Melba McGuire and Wilda Brown.
Wanda was a self-sacrificing homemaker and a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Graveside funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
