Michael R. Strode
Fiatt-Michael R. Strode, 45, of Fiatt passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.
He was born on October 11, 1970, in Peoria.
He was married to Tina Trail.
Surviving are his mother Audrey (Stoner) Strode of Fiatt, Step mother, Sue Uhland, two step children, Samantha and Ashlie, brother Mitchell Strode, sisters Jennifer Bobell, Candace Miller, nieces Megan, Jenna and Alexis and nephews, Landon and Lucas.
His best dog Little Bit also survives.
He was preceded in death by one infant brother.
Michael was a member of A.B.A.T.E.
A celebration of Michaels life will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the American Grill in Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to the family C/O Triumph Bank.

"I have memories of Michael, too. When he and his classmates attended school it was Smithfield Grade School and I was his teacher. It became the Red Brick School when the community purchased it. Since then it has been called The Red Brick School and is known for its chicken and noodle dinners during the Scenic Drive...... Sue Roberts"
