Clifford Yerby
East Peoria Clifford D. Yerby, 81, of East Peoria passed away at 7:55 a.m. Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 19, 1933 in Elmwood to George Biff and Delores (White) Yerby.
He married Arlene in Moline, IL on December 15, 1956. She survives.
Other survivors include four children Tobey (John) Hauter of Mackinaw, Christy (Dan) Koenigstein of Venedy, Stacey Yerby (friend Jack) of East Peoria, and Gary (Cari) Yerby of Morton, 10 grandchildren Joseph (Alana) Hauter, Daniel (Jami) Hauter, Paul (Alecia) Hauter, Joshua (Tonya) Koenigstein, Craig (Braidy) Koenigstein, Robbie Koenigstein, Drew Ingles, Clifford Yerby, Allie Yerby, and Lincoln Yerby, and 10 great grandchildren Dade, Milli, Lyla, Ellie, Brooke, Kody, Landyn, Ruby, Reed and Evie.
Cliff had worked as a manager for IBM Corp. for 35 years, retiring from Peoria office in 1991. He was a Korean War Navy veteran, a member of Navy/Marine Club of Peoria, Spring Bay American Legion, Farmington Moose Lodge, Amvets of Peoria and the East Peoria Boat Club, where he served as a Commodore.
He was a 1951 graduate of Elmwood High School and attended Bradley University.

Services will be held at Noon on Thursday, December 11 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood, where visitation will be held two hours prior. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Burial will be at Elmwood Twp. Cemetery.
