Betty Aletta Boyum Creen was born 12/12/1926 in La Crosse, WI to Benjamin O. and Alice Kjos Boyum. She was preceded in death by her loving husband T. Charles, sister Ann Johnson Todd and her parents. She is survived by her four children; Alice Proud Jeffrey, Tom Amy, Betsey Neil Brian, Susan Mason Mark; 7 grandchildren; Matt Neil Amanda, Mike Neil, Adam Neil, Rachel Mason, Lucas Mason, Charlie Green and Anna Green. She also has 3 great-grandchildren; Jasper Neil, Amelia Neil and Henry Neil, plus nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty enjoyed a full life of family and friends, music and church. She was the organist at Central Lutheran Church in Winona for 25 years, organist for Atonement Lutheran in St. Cloud, music director of the School Belles of Winona, and a former Winona Country Club City Golf Champion. She will be fondly remembered by all her dear family and friends, PEO sisters, church community, neighbors and piano students and their families. Please join us for a celebration of her life at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud, MN on Sunday, September 8th, with a visitation at 2p, followed by he funeral service at 3pm. She will have an interment for family and her Winona friends at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona Date and times to be announced. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.
